(September 5, 2008: Athens, PA 18810) In Friday's non-league match, the host Athens Wildcats football squad scored a big 54-0 victory over the Wyalusing Valley Area Rams.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Athens will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
