Nebraska High School Basketball - Holdrege crushes Lakeview
(January 24, 2012: Holdrege, NE 68949) Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lakeview Vikings (Columbus, NE), 69-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Holdrege upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Dusters host Grand Island Northwest (Grand Island, NE) to play the Vikings in a B District 5 bout on Friday, February 3. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Grand Island Northwest won 55-36 in their recent non-league bout against Fairbury (Fairbury, NE)
Next up, the Vikings play the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Lakeview will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 14-0 record after their 71-34 league win over York (York, NE).
