West Virginia High School Football - Braxton County routs Ravenswood
(October 7, 2011: Sutton, WV 26601) The Braxton County Eagles football squad scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Ravenswood Red Devils to 13 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tyler (Sistersville, WV). The Knights come into the Little Kanawha challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Tyler was ripped by Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV), 58-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Point Pleasant for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 14. Ravenswood will meet a Knights team coming off a 50-7 league win over Poca (Poca, WV). The Knights record now stands at 6-0.
