Arizona High School Basketball - North Canyon ripped by Mountain Ridge

(January 24, 2012: Glendale, AZ 85310) The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting North Canyon Rattlers to 32 in the Mountain Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mountain Lions now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Vista for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Mountain Ridge will confront a Monsoon team coming off a 66-28 league win over Browne (Phoenix, AZ). The Monsoon record now stands at 22-4.

With the defeat, North Canyon moves to 1-17 on the year. The Rattlers host Centennial (Peoria, AZ) to face the Coyotes in a non-league game on Thursday, January 26. The Coyotes enter the game with a record of 13-8. Centennial won 58-42 in their recent league game against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ)
