Texas High School Basketball - Wakeland trounces Frisco

(December 13, 2011: Frisco, TX 75034) The Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) basketball crushed the host Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 59-20 in Tuesday's league test.

The Wolverines (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans go into the 4A Region II District 9 test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Newman Smith was trounced by Liberty (Frisco, TX), 40-39, in a league test.

The Raccoons now own a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Turner for a 4A Region II District 9 test on Friday, December 16. Frisco will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 73-51 league loss to Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-9.
