(October 16, 2008: Spring Hill, FL 34609) Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL) fans left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL), 21-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Springstead improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL) to confront the Knights /Royal in a 4A District 8 test on Friday, October 24. The Knights /Royal go into the test with a record of 0-6. River Ridge lost 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Hudson (Hudson, FL)

With the loss, Hernando moves to 2-4 on the season. The Leopards travel to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL) to confront the Panthers in a 3A District 6 test on Friday, October 24.
