(January 16, 2012: Oakley, CA 94513) In Monday's non-league match, the host Freedom Falcons basketball team scored a good 61-53 triumph over the Logan Colts.

In their next game, the Falcons confront the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) in a Bay Valley match, on Friday, January 20. Freedom will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 4-13 record after their 56-47 league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA).

With the defeat, Logan moves to 7-11 on the year. The Colts host Newark Memorial (Newark, CA) to confront the Cougars in a Mission Valley match on Wednesday, January 18. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 12-4. Newark Memorial won 50-38 in their recent non-league match against Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR)
