(December 2, 2011: Raymond, MS 39154) Raymond Rangers (Raymond, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS), 59-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Raymond upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Rangers host Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Hazlehurst lost 70-68 in their recent non-league bout against Wingfield (Jackson, MS)

Next up, the Arrows play the Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 78-66 non-league loss to Pearl (Pearl, MS).
