(December 19, 2008: Fort Myers, FL 33919) The River Ridge Knights /Royal (New Port Richey, FL) basketball nipped the host Cypress Lake Panthers (Fort Myers, FL), 46-44 in Friday's non-league test.

The Knights /Royal (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Clearwater Central Catholic (Clearwater, FL). The Marauders go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Clearwater Central Catholic was tipped by Jesuit (Tampa, FL), 56-20, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmetto Ridge for a non-league test on Saturday, December 20. Cypress Lake will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 62-44 non-league win over Coral Park (Miami, FL). The Bears record now stands at 4-4.
