(December 20, 2011: Katy, TX 77450) The Katy Taylor Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Sam Rayburn Texans to 33 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cy-Fair for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Katy Taylor will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 56-47 non-league loss to College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-7.

The Texans (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Royal (Brookshire, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Royal beat Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX), 110-60, in a non-league contest.
