Texas High School Basketball - West Mesquite overwhelms Horn

(November 21, 2011: Mesquite, TX 75181) Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) and the host Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX), saw West Mesquite's basketball squad trounce Horn by a score of 60-38.

With the victory, West Mesquite improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wranglers host Corsicana (Corsicana, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 4A Region II District 15 challenge on Tuesday, November 22. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Corsicana won 76-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Jaguars battle the Roosevelt Mustangs (Dallas, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Horn will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
