Kentucky High School Football - Male overwhelms Butler

(October 12, 2007: Louisville, KY 40216) The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Male Bulldogs (Louisville, KY) and the host Butler Bears (Louisville, KY), observed Male's football squad bounce Butler by a count of 56-15.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Fern Creek for a 6A District 4 contest on Friday, October 19. Male will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 55-10 non-league loss to Ryle (Union, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Bears encounter the DuPont Manual Crimsons (Louisville, KY) in a 6A District 3 contest, on Friday, October 19. Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Crimsons go into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 34-6 league win over Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY).
