New York High School Basketball - Woodlands edges Rye

Woodlands Falcons (Hartsdale, NY) basketball nipped the host
Rye Garnets (Rye, NY),
74-70 in Friday's league test.
The Falcons (11-2) will now prepare for their test against
Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY). The Pelicans go into the
Section 1 III - B test with a 9-5 record. In their last test,
Pelham Memorial was tipped by
Rye (Rye, NY),
64-35, in a league test.
The Garnets now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Ardsley for a
Section 1 III - B contest on Thursday, January 24.
Rye will meet a Panthers team coming off a
92-68 league loss to
Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 4-9.
