Washington High School Basketball - Redmond holds off Issaquah

(January 25, 2012: Redmond, WA 98052) Redmond Mustangs (Redmond, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA), 58-52 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Redmond improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Garfield (Seattle, WA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 4A KingCo challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Garfield won 59-52 in their recent league challenge against Bothell (Bothell, WA)

Next up, the Eagles battle the Eastlake Wolves (Sammamish, WA) in a 4A KingCo challenge, on Friday, January 27. Issaquah will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 85-67 league loss to Newport (Bellevue, WA).
