(September 2, 2011: North Highlands, CA 95660) The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) and the host Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA), observed Leland's football squad bounce Highlands by a count of 52-7.

The Chargers now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Sobrato for a non-league contest on Friday, September 9. Leland will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 40-28 non-league win over Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Scots encounter the Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 8. Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
