(October 3, 2011: Deep Run, NC 28525) Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) fans left the game content Monday as they saw their football team rout the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), 40-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Topsail improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Pirates host Clinton (Clinton, NC) to confront the Dark Horses in a 2A East Central test on Friday, October 7. The Dark Horses come into the test with a record of 1-6. Clinton lost 30-0 in their recent league test against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC)
With the loss, South Lenoir drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Northside (Jacksonville, NC) to confront the Monarchs in a 2A East Central test on Friday, October 7. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 7-0. Northside won 59-7 in their recent league test against Croatan (Newport, NC)
