North Carolina High School Basketball - Greenfield nudges Trinity Christian
(January 23, 2012: Fayetteville, NC 28311) In Monday's non-league outing, the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) basketball squad edged the host Trinity Christian Crusaders (Fayetteville, NC), by a margin of 74-69.
The Knights (20-2) will now prepare for their outing against Epiphany (New Bern, NC). The go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Epiphany was tipped by Oakwood (Greenville, NC), 60-37, in a league outing.
The Crusaders now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Word of God Christian Academy for a NCISAA Southeastern outing on Friday, January 27. Trinity Christian will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 83-74 league win over Waccamaw Academy (Whiteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 10-6.
