Pennsylvania High School Basketball - DuBois Central Catholic crushes Curwensville
(December 15, 2008: DuBois, PA 15801) DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals (DuBois, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA), 65-32 in a league bout.
With the victory, DuBois Central Catholic upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Cameron County (Emporium, PA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Cameron County won 54-41 in their recent non-league bout against Ridgway (Ridgway, PA)
Next up, the Golden Tide play the West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 17. Curwensville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 74-53 non-league win over Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA).
