Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest holds off Culver Academies
(November 27, 2009: Lake Forest, IL 60045) Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Culver Academies Eagles (Culver, IN), 32-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lake Forest upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Scouts travel to Chicago Vocational (Chicago, IL) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 28. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Chicago Vocational won 88-63 in their recent non-league bout against Niles North (Skokie, IL)
Next up, the Eagles play the Soldan International Studies Tigers (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 28. Culver Academies will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 67-51 non-league win over De La Salle (Chicago, IL).
