The Gophers now possess a 18-5 record. They play next when they host Superior for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Florence will battle a Panthers team coming off a 67-46 non-league loss to Globe (Globe, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.

The Bears (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes come into the III Section II battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Combs prevailed over San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ), 58-24, in a league battle.
