Ohio High School Basketball - Carlisle overwhelms New Miami
(January 28, 2012: Hamilton, OH 45011) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carlisle Indians (Carlisle, OH) and the host New Miami Vikings (Hamilton, OH), saw Carlisle's basketball squad trounce New Miami by a score of 76-29.
With the victory, Carlisle improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Brookville (Brookville, OH) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 2-10. Brookville lost 45-41 in their recent non-league test against Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH)
The Vikings now own a 1-15 record. They take the field next when they host Cincinnati Country Day for a Miami Valley test on Tuesday, February 7. New Miami will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 66-43 league loss to North College Hill (Cincinnati, OH). The Indians record now stands at 8-8.
