New Mexico High School Basketball - Valley ripped by Albuquerque

(February 8, 2012: Albuquerque, NM 87102) The Albuquerque Bulldogs basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Valley Vikings to 33 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albuquerque Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Albuquerque will meet a Chargers team coming off a 76-59 league loss to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers record now stands at 5-18.

The Vikings (10-13) will now prepare for their contest against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs enter the 5A District 5 contest with a 17-10 record. In their last contest, West Mesa trounced Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 65-52, in a league contest.
