(January 18, 2008: Alexandria, LA 71303) The Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) basketball felled the host Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA), 67-53 in Friday's league test.

The Warhorses (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Tioga (Tioga, LA). The Indians go into the 4A District 3 test with a 7-12 record.

The Trojans now own a 11-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leesville for a 4A District 3 test on Tuesday, January 22. Alexandria will clash with a Wampus Cats squad coming off a 42-22 league loss to Tioga (Tioga, LA). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 2-18.
