Texas High School Basketball - Stamford falls to Borden

(December 2, 2011: Gail, TX 79738) The Borden Coyotes basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Stamford Bulldogs to 38 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Coyotes now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Borden will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 66-33 non-league loss to Iraan (Iraan, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.

The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Spur (Spur, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Spur was defeated by Whitharral (Whitharral, TX), 64-23, in a non-league contest.
