Texas High School Basketball - Tivy falls to Brennan
(January 6, 2012: Kerrville, TX 78028) The Brennan Bears basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Tivy Antlers to 19 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 24-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Uvalde for a 4A Region IV District 28 contest on Monday, January 9. Brennan will meet a Coyotes team coming off a 52-38 league loss to McCollum (San Antonio, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-18.
The Antlers (6-13) will now prepare for their bout against Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The Panthers go into the 4A Region IV District 28 bout with a 17-9 record. In their last bout, Medina Valley was knocked off by Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX), 57-48, in a league bout.
