(March 5, 2009: Brooksville, FL 34604) The Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL) softball routed the host Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), 5-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Pirates (9-0) will now prepare for their bout against Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Bulls go into the 4A District 8 bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Wiregrass Ranch held off Gulf (New Port Richey, FL), 11-10, in a league bout.

The Sharks now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Sunlake for a non-league bout on Friday, March 6. Nature Coast Tech will confront a Seahawks squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 9-3.

Lucy Schneider, Pasco's shortstop stole home twice on Nature Coast's Ashley Antczak, once in the 4th when she reached on an error, and again in the 7th after hitting deep to center for a triple.
