Tennessee High School Basketball - Smith County routs Trousdale County
(January 9, 2012: Carthage, TN 37030) In Monday's non-league outing, the Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Trousdale County Yellowjackets (Hartsville, TN), by a margin of 67-34.
The Owls (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Cannon County (Woodbury, TN). The Lions go into the AA District 8 outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Cannon County smashed Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN), 64-23, in a non-league outing.
The Yellowjackets now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 10. Trousdale County will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 43-42 non-league loss to Livingston Academy (Livingston, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-6.
