Kentucky High School Basketball - Ballard Memorial falls to Graves County
(February 7, 2012: Mayfield, KY 42066) The Graves County Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Ballard Memorial Bombers to 42 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayfield for a District 3 contest on Friday, February 10. Graves County will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 63-44 non-league win over Murray (Murray, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-8.
The Bombers (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Carlisle County ran past Calloway County (Murray, KY), 63-50, in a non-league contest.
