Colorado High School Basketball - Air Academy can't hold off Falcon

(February 7, 2012: US Air Force Academy, CO 80840) The Falcon Falcons basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Air Academy Kadets to 50 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodland Park for a 4A Colorado Springs Metro contest on Friday, February 10. Falcon will meet a Panthers team coming off a 68-46 league loss to Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 2-17.

The Kadets (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wasson (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunderbirds enter the 4A Colorado Springs Metro contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Wasson nudged Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO), 78-64, in a league contest.
