Texas High School Basketball - Milby can't hold off Bowie

(December 6, 2007: Arlington, TX 76018) The Bowie Volunteers basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Milby Buffs to 44 in the Volunteers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Volunteers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league contest on Friday, December 7. Bowie will meet a Buffalos team coming off a 87-66 non-league win over Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 4-4.

The Buffs (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Furr (Houston, TX). The Brahmans enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Furr was nudged by Austin (Sugar Land, TX), 48-30, in a non-league contest.
