Tennessee High School Basketball - Eagleville can't hold off Forrest
(January 17, 2012: Chapel Hill, TN 37034) The Forrest Rockets basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Eagleville Eagles to 38 in the Rockets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rockets now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gabriel Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Forrest will face a team coming off a 53-24 non-league loss to DeKalb County (Smithville, TN). The record now stands at 2-16.
With the defeat, Eagleville moves to 9-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Watertown (Watertown, TN) to face the Purple Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, January 23. The Purple Tigers enter the match with a record of 13-7.
