(November 8, 2011: Bastrop, TX 78612) The Burnet Bulldogs basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Cedar Creek Eagle to 23 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Killeen for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 15. Burnet will meet a Kangaroos team coming off a 83-19 non-league loss to Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 0-2.

Next up, the Eagle play the McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 14. Cedar Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 59-17 non-league win over Bastrop (Bastrop, TX).
