(November 18, 2008: Wesley Chapel, FL 33544) Tampa Catholic Crusaders (Tampa, FL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Wesley Chapel Wildcats (Wesley Chapel, FL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders battle the Lennard Longhorns (Ruskin, FL) in a Class 3A - District 9 challenge, on Wednesday, November 19. Tampa Catholic will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Longhorns go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to East Bay (Gibsonton, FL).

The Wildcats now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Land O'Lakes for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 19. Wesley Chapel will battle a Gators team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Gators record now stands at 2-0.

First Quarter Summary:
Tampa Catholic and Wesley Chapel started the match with both teams struggling to find their groove . Both teams did not have very many good chances to score. The first half of the game was a defensive battle and ended in a draw 0-0.
Second Quarter Summary:
The first goal came from Tampa Catholic striker Andrew Buckley. T.C. defender Robby Sherman sent a crossed ball to Buckley who recieved it and went one vs one with a Wesley Chapel defender and placed the ball passed goal keeper Ryan Dechent for T.C. goal. The second goal also came from T.C. striker Buckley. Center midfielder Christian Blattler passed Buckley a through ball on the right side of the field. Buckley recieved the ball and challenged W.C. left back , the left back missed his mark and Buckley placed the ball passed the keeper into the left side goal net.
