Goldsboro Cougars (Goldsboro, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting
North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC),
83-69 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (13-9) will now prepare for their test against
Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC). The Rams go into the
Eastern Plains test with a 1-8 record. In their last test,
Greene Central was beaten by
North Pitt (Bethel, NC),
73-62, in a league test.
The Hawks now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host
Tarboro for a
Eastern Plains test on Tuesday, February 12.
