Florida High School Basketball - Central holds off North Fort Myers

(December 27, 2007: Brooksville, FL 34613) The Central Bears basketball squad scored 52 points and restricted the visiting North Fort Myers Red Knights to 50 in the Bears non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bears (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Land O'Lakes (Land O'Lakes, FL). The Gators come into the 5A District 7 bout with a 13-1 record.

Coming up next, the Red Knights battle the Mariner Tritons (Cape Coral, FL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 28. North Fort Myers will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record.
