California High School Basketball - Jesuit crushes Ponderosa

(February 1, 2012: Carmichael, CA 95608) Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 64-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Jesuit upgrades its record to 19-4 on the season. The Marauders travel to Sheldon (Sacramento, CA) to encounter the Huskies in a Delta River bout on Friday, February 3. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Sheldon won 71-56 in their recent league bout against Folsom (Folsom, CA)

Next up, the Bruins encounter the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) in a Delta River bout, on Friday, February 3. Ponderosa will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 19-3 record after their 60-52 league win over Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA).
