The Firebirds now sport a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Brophy College Prep for a I Section III battle on Thursday, January 12. Chaparral will meet a Broncos team coming off a 67-54 non-league win over St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Broncos record now stands at 14-3.

The Spartans (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions come into the I Section I battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Alhambra dropped by McClintock (Tempe, AZ), 58-42, in a non-league battle.
