New York High School Basketball - Mamaroneck overwhelmed by Mt. Vernon

Mt. Vernon Knights basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host
Mamaroneck Tigers to 40 in the Knights league victory on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to
Roman Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 9.
Mt. Vernon will meet a Cahillite team coming off a
68-38 league win over
Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic (Norristown, PA). The Cahillite record now stands at 18-3.
The Tigers (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against
Jay (Hopewell Junction, NY). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest,
Jay was routed by
Carmel (Carmel, NY),
63-50, in a non-league contest.
