(December 16, 2011: Round Rock, TX 78681) The Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX), 50-36 in Friday's league test.

The Dragons (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region II District 16 test with a 20-0 record. In their last test, Pflugerville topped Westlake (Austin, TX), 76-30, in a non-league test.

The Mavericks now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host Georgetown for a 5A Region II District 16 test on Monday, December 19. McNeil will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 49-40 league win over Leander (Leander, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 16-0.
