Oregon High School Basketball - Santiam falls to Scio
(January 24, 2012: Scio, OR 97374) The Scio Loggers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Santiam Wolverines to 51 in the Loggers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Loggers now sport a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Regis for a 2A Tri-River bout on Wednesday, January 25. Scio will play a Rams squad coming off a 57-36 league win over Western Mennonite (Salem, OR). The Rams record now stands at 16-1.
Next up, the Wolverines play the Regis Rams (Stayton, OR) in a 2A Tri-River bout, on Friday, January 27. Santiam will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 65-61 league loss to Scio (Scio, OR).
