(February 24, 2009: Plant City, FL 33567) Durant Cougars (Plant City, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting East Bay Indians (Gibsonton, FL), 11-0 in a league test.

With the win, Durant upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Riverview (Sarasota, FL) to battle the Rams in a 6A District 8 test on Friday, February 27. The Rams come into the test with a record of 1-1.

With the defeat, East Bay falls to 0-3 on the season. The Indians host Jefferson (Tampa, FL) to battle the Dragons in a non-league test on Wednesday, February 25. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 2-0. Jefferson won 11-5 in their recent league test against Middleton (Tampa, FL)
