California High School Basketball - South trounces Lawndale
(January 20, 2012: Lawndale, CA 90260) The South Spartans (Torrance, CA) basketball crushed the host Lawndale Cardinals (Lawndale, CA), 65-27 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans (15-6) will now prepare for their test against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Eagles go into the Pioneer test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, El Segundo was trounced by North (Torrance, CA), 57-44, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they host Centennial for a Pioneer test on Wednesday, January 25. Lawndale will clash with a Apaches squad coming off a 47-40 league loss to Torrance (Torrance, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 7-10.
