(January 17, 2012: West Suffield, CT 06093) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Avon Falcons (Avon, CT) and the host Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT), saw Avon's basketball squad knock off Suffield by a score of 44-35.

With the victory, Avon improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Ellington (Ellington, CT) to battle the Knights in a North Central Connecticut challenge on Friday, January 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Ellington lost 72-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Windham (Willimantic, CT)

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Enfield Raiders (Enfield, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Suffield will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 65-26 league win over Somers (Somers, CT).
