Arizona High School Football - Saguaro trounces Thunderbird

(September 2, 2011: Scottsdale, AZ 85250) In Friday's league match, the host Saguaro Sabercats football squad scored a big 70-21 victory over the Thunderbird Chiefs.

In their next game, the Sabercats clash with the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) in a III Section III match, on Friday, September 9. Saguaro will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Buffaloes enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 56-7 non-league loss to Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ).

The Chiefs (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans enter the III Section III match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Arcadia routed Washington (Phoenix, AZ), 48-41, in a league match.
