(January 13, 2012: Fort Worth, TX 76244) The Springtown Porcupines basketball team (Springtown, TX), was overwhelmed 61-28 in Friday's league battle with the host Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX)

The Falcons now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Boswell for a 4A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Timber Creek will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 42-39 league win over Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-12.

The Porcupines (13-13) will now prepare for their battle against Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Bobcat come into the 4A Region I District 5 battle with a 15-12 record. In their last battle, Byron Nelson triumphed over Brewer (Fort Worth, TX), 49-34, in a league battle.
