Minnesota High School Volleyball - Minneapolis Southwest Hopkins

(September 26, 2011: Minnetonka, MN 55305) The Hopkins Royals prevailed the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.

The Royals now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eden Prairie for a Lake test on Tuesday, September 27. Hopkins will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.

The Lakers (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Tommies enter the Minneapolis City test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Edison dropped by Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
