Arizona High School Basketball - Westwind Prep Academy trounces Bourgade Catholic
(December 4, 2009: Phoenix, AZ 85017) The Westwind Prep Academy Warriors (Phoenix, AZ) basketball crushed the host Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), 70-43 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ). The Phoenix go into the 2A West test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Tonopah Valley walloped Salome (Salome, AZ), 68-28, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tempe Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 8. Bourgade Catholic will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 98-26 non-league loss to Westwind Prep Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
