California High School Basketball - Orange Lutheran ripped by Mater Dei

(February 1, 2012: Orange, CA 92867) In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Mater Dei Monarchs basketball squad scored a big 90-65 victory over the Orange Lutheran Lancers.

With the victory, Mater Dei improves its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Monarchs host St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA) to battle the Braves in a Trinity challenge on Friday, February 3. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. St. John Bosco won 62-54 in their recent league challenge against Servite (Anaheim, CA)

Next up, the Lancers battle the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Orange Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record.
