Texas High School Basketball - Lorenzo overwhelms Meadow

(January 6, 2012: Meadow, TX 79345) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lorenzo Hornets (Lorenzo, TX) and the host Meadow Broncos (Meadow, TX), saw Lorenzo's basketball squad trounce Meadow by a score of 87-42.

With the victory, Lorenzo improves its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Hornets host New Home (New Home, TX) to battle the Leopards in a 1A-2 Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 14-1. New Home won 40-26 in their recent league challenge against Ropes (Ropesville, TX)

Next up, the Broncos battle the Ira Bulldogs (Ira, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Meadow will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record.
