California High School Basketball - East Union holds off Napa

(December 30, 2011: Napa, CA 94558) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) and the host Napa Indians (Napa, CA), saw East Union's basketball squad hold off Napa by a count of 59-52.

With the victory, East Union upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Lathrop (Lathrop, CA) to play the Spartans in a Valley Oak challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Lathrop lost 40-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Tracy (Tracy, CA)

Next up, the Indians play the Vanden Vikings (Fairfield, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Napa will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 59-35 non-league win over McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA).
